High Shine Water Gloss

Finish: Glossy/Shimmery

Beauty goal: Intense shine with just a hint of colour

Expert tip: Our High Shine Water Gloss is an easy way to fake fuller looking lips. All you have to do is use a liner in a matching shade to subtly define your lip contour. Top with gloss and marvel at your voluptuous pout. Shades 03 and 04 also add a touch of shimmer to your lips.

Cream Glow Lipstick

Finish: Glowy

Beauty goal:  Intense shine, buildable colour & creamy satin texture

Expert tip: Gently rub the lipstick on the back of your hand before applying. This will soften the texture and add a lustrous sheen. For maximum shine, dab a translucent gloss on your Cupid's bow; this adds extra glow while preserving the colour.

Do you prefer a bold lip? Then add an extra coat or combine your lipstick with a lip liner for extra colour and definition.

Velvet Matt Lipstick

Finish: Semi-matte

Beauty goal: Intense colour and a creamy texture

Expert tip: This creamy texture is best combined with a lip liner to ensure optimal precision.

Do you prefer an ultra-matte lip? Then apply a little translucent powder after your lipstick. To do so, place a tissue on your lips and swipe with the powder brush while the tissue is still in place. That way, your lips will only pick up the smallest amount of powder, which preserves the colour intensity and improves its hold.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have questions about the application or texture of our lip products? Your question may have already been answered.

  • Start by outlining your lips with lip liner, going slightly above the natural contour on the Cupid's bow and the midpoint of the lower lip. Then colour in your entire lips with lip liner or lipstick and finish with a gloss or lip plumper.

Extra tip: As a general rule, it's best to avoid darker shades as they can make your lips look thinner and smaller.

  • There are several options here. The easiest is to apply lip liner under your lipstick. Matte lipsticks can be set with translucent powder to make them last longer.

  • We recommend using a freshly sharpened lip liner to precisely outline your lips. Then fill in with lipstick and blot with a tissue. This helps to remove any excess product so it doesn't end up on your teeth. Sharpen your lip liner before use and start at your Cupid's bow, working your way outwards.

  • Tip the lip liner before use, starting at the cupid's bow. Then contour your lips from the centre outwards.

Application

  • Do your lips tend to be dry? Then you should apply a lip conditioner on a regular basis and also use a lip scrub once or twice a week. In addition, you can also use a nourishing Lip Balm.

All lavera lip products contain nourishing ingredients and provide long-term protection against drying out. Still want to play it safe? Then opt for creamy textures or gloss.

  • For a weightless feel, carefully dab on your matte lipstick. For longer wear, you can also apply some lip liner under your lipstick.

Texture

Colour

  • Your lip liner should be either slightly darker or the same colour as your lipstick. Of course, you can also choose whatever shade you want and then apply a subtle shimmery gloss.
